The main body is 38mm. I believe they are comparable to a DCOE40 carb, but around £350 cheaper! I think Boggs recommend something like 42mm for a 2.0? Although a few people are running them without any trouble on pintos and zetecs.

The perk of the Zx6R carb is that they cost pennies. I got mine for £25 or something, complete with trumpets, plates and the complete filter box.

The zx6r carbs re 38mm which is the recomended max venturi size for 45dcoe carbs so they are more than enough for the job

HI Lewis. ive got a set of 2000 zr6,s and ive been told they have a better mid range than the r1 40,s
Im putting mine on a zetec 1800 silver top, mine are 37mm chokes.
Have yours got the t.p.s.?

That's exactly what I've got on my 2.0 blacktop. They work really well.

I've done a couple of trackdays and don't seem to have any problems keeping up with Zetec engined cars on TBs.

On mine [I've got 3 sets that Ive been mucking about with] the chokes all measure 37.5mm internally.

The needles also have multiple grooves which makes setting up the mid range mixture dead easy.

Hard to be completely sure from the pic, but looks like they don't have a TPS.

It would be on the right hand side of the carbs in the ebay pic. It is a small roundish black box with a cable coming out if it terminating in a 3 way connector.

They are also quite dear for ZX6R's [especially without a TPS]

ive got a spare set, they are ZX6 ones think J model with the TPS, they have the airbox trumpet back plate, but with a set of 4 of the shorter trumpets as i used the longer pair in my car to have a matching set.
you can have them for £30 + postage which i think is about £7 but will have to weigh them if you are interested
