Is 9/16 unf a rare size for an oil cooler connector?

Why the different sizes?

That seams pretty small.... -6AN is 9/16"

Racetech in wallingford are always good for me (they are local to me, but do mail order).

E-bay isn't bad for AN fittings especially as you don't have to get off you bum.
Search on AN6 or "AN -6" AN06 in the car stuff.
