r1 carbon can, cat or no cat?

is it possible it has a cat in it? how can i tell without taking it to bits?
or were they only in later titanium cans?

ah well. i've got a full stainless system anyway, but without cat. was just an idea that i could use the carbon can i've got for a cat. never mind
