Anyone fitted Cat inside Silencer and passed IVA SVA?

Hi all, just at the point of fitting my universal cat and cannot decide if mounting it inside my MK silencer is the right way to go.

My only main concern is noise as the cat will take up approx 1/3 of the silencer length so am I going to end up with not enough 'silencing' and fail IVA? or will the cat aid the silencing?

Was considering mounting inside for ease of fabrication, better look and easier to remove.

Mine passed OK, I used an MK silencer with built in "cat". Barry

AAS at Newcastle do that and simply make the silencer longer.

An added bonus would be better heat retention in the CAT

hi did mine also

welded it to 2.5" perf tube so could just take out after if needed to and replace with normal 2.5

this was a 200 pci cat and worked a treat,
they do say though to get the cat as close to the maifold as poss for best results

good luck
