Gearbox Input Shafts...

Next problem has struck me in the RS4 V8 to T5 Borg-Warner box (I'm a slow thinker ).

The input shaft!

Does anyone know the diameter of the T5 shaft and the spline pattern... could I be lucky enough that it's the same as the Audi???

1" 23 splines same as Type 9 and MT75 there are a number of clutch plates available you just need an Audi clutch cover to match of get the flywheel drilled to accept a Cosworth clutch

not sure about the cossie and TVR T5's but i was under the impression that US T5's came in an array of different input shaft configs.

1" x 10 splines
1" x 14 splines
1" x 26 splines

Bear this in mind, I have come across US T5's (cameros , mustangs) for sale over here
