What throttle bodies on your Zetec?

I'm thinking of replacing the Griffin power systems inlet I currently have for some throttle bodies from a bike.
I know some use the GSXR 750/1000 as some can be individually respaced. I would ideally like the throttle bodies to have a built in cold start/choke arrangement that's plumbed into the cooling system. Just wondering what people were using.
Engine is a 2.0l silvertop.

ZX12R - Yes they're probably too big but they work and have almost perfect spacing from the bike.

Most FI systems use warm up enrichment of the mixture rather than "choke" etc.

Have got the wax choke mech, which did get respaced, but not fitted or needed it yet and was thinking of just using a cable to operate it

I also bought an aquarium air valve that could plug into the vacc takeoff lines to the TB's that should in therory raise the RPM in a nice and controlled way, and it could be stuck in cockpit easily enough

the coolant plumbing side of the original wax controller looked like it wasn't going to be able to be done neatly (and gaurantee a good flow through those teeeny connectors that the bike had) so kind of ditched the wax stat idea

Still not got a "choke" or extra air bleed sorted, but MS does have the warmup enrichment feature that does work very well, but does require a bit of throttle feathering for a few seconds after starting on the worst days to keep it going which I can live with....its a race car innit...

I got GSXR600, think 38mm but would need to check size though, currently ok for 150bhp, think early GSXR750 throttle bodies had a cam type arrangement on a choke cable which acted on the throttle linkage to slightly increase revs, but ive removed mine with use of manual right foot till warm

CBR1000Rr on mine, have a coolant operated FIdle valve, air bleed circuit and could be turned over to manual cable operated, although not sure if required with MS atm.

I have GSXR600 on my engine (athough it's a tuned 2ltr CVH), and these are currently flowing 203bhp....They are tapered down to 38mm and seem perfect.........

In theory, with weber carbs you put in an insert (choke) to reduce the diameter of the barrel.

If you took a larger throttle body, what is to stop you doing the same? What effect does it have if you place the choke at different places?

Eg before the butterfly?

I'm thinking having the choke just before the fuel injector would be best to speed up the airflow.

This way you could use the larger thottle body without sacrificing drive ability.

is 203bhp naturally aspirated or turbo ZVH conversion? as ive got GSXR600 at moment and were going to change to larger 750's

Hi, It's N/A using a ferriday bottom end (so pistons are pocketed).....The head is ported and runs a fairly lairy cam and solid lifters........But the GSXR600 set up seems to run it perfectly....I actually think I could get more top end if I tried, but I'm enjoying the torque too much :-)
