Zetec sump depth

This is one for all you peep's with a zetec in an Indy. The 1600 Escort sump and pipe
arrived today, big thanks to The Conrodkid. It is a little
deeper than i thought it would be,so am a tad concerned about ground clearance.
Has anyone had ground clearance problems using this sump and how far does it protrude below the chassis.

Many thanks,

Andy

Mine is level with the bottom of the bell housing. Has it shortened by Martin Keenan. the mondeo sump also needs modifying at the side where the starter fits as the sump fouls the starter

Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

I dont suppose you could measure
from the face of the block to the bottom of the sump?
Mine is 170mm and i dont have a bellhousing to offer up to the block.

Thanks,

Andy

I cut mine down and level with the bell housing and had to remove about 20mm so depth ended up at 150mm.
