saab 2.3 turbo again

hi just a quick one i asked last time about what gearbox. but what clutch plate would i use, and the car i have is an auto do you no if the gearbox is linked to the ecu because i want to no if i can run the auto ecu with a 5 speed box without any probs.

I dont know about the saab but the ford ecu needs inputs from the auto box.

I think you need a Sierra 2.3 diesel clutch plate from what I've read on the net

not sure, but I think the saab clutch is good for this. I'm assuming you want to mate it to the omega box
I'm not sure about the ecu but you can reflash it with a manual ecu map, or create your own specific to your needs from this site http://www.ecuproject.com/

This should hopefully give you much more scope for custom modifications without having to fork out for an aftermarket ecu. If you have a T25 turbo and a free flowing exaust you should be able to get 250hp from stock components using the stage wizard in t5 suite, I think 270hp is reasonable if you have a TD04 turbo

some have managed figures around 400 with original internals using cheap holset turbos from lorries/buses, but this would destroy the omega box (and probably take chunks out of your legs too)
