Very nice
Why doesn't your car have a proper transmission tunnel by the way? surely it's not a stiff as a chassis with a tunnel?
Cheers

hmm I dont know, I'd have to ask Peter at Dax.
Read a few reviews about the Dax chassis being pretty rigid allowing for the high power cossie/v8 units that a lot of people fit. I know nothing of
the engineering though!
ETA friend of a friend in leicestershire dunk3, I believe his words were "I really like doing this job, but I wont make any money off you"
so not sure if he'd look to do any more!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

How is the collector done inside there? I assume there is a proper collector in there!

Hi dev, yes there is a collector in the metal section welded to the front of the can, concealed.

I´m by no means an expert, but regarding runner lengths, I think the inner ones (cyl 2 & 3) should have been routed to the outer side to balance?
Beware of what you wish.. for it may come true....

They are fine, they look pretty equal to me, and to be honest length equality is overrated, in just the same way as a lot of people are finally wising
up to having different length intake trumpets on cylinder pairs on a 4 cylinder, the same can be said for exhausts. While the one in the pic
wouldn't have a noticeable effect, having different length pairs of pipes will spread torque a little, which to me is worth more than a bigger
peak number.........
That can over the collector is interesting, should make radius requirements an easy thing! Awkward if it ever cracks, but it shouldn't with the
extra reinforcement of the can over it.
Can you u2u me your mate's number and location, as to be honest a local subcontractor for this sort of thing would be useful, as we are too busy
for exhaust stuff at the mo! I assume he does his own mandrel bending?
