TURBO MAP?

Hi All,

Well if youve been following my progress, ive fitted the turbo, and took it for a spin to the SG7 meet.
Apart from an oil leak from the turbo feed (jubilee clip not fitted properly / thread stripped) it worked very well.

I am disappointed though, as i was expecting some very agressive power but all i seem to have got is a slight increase and about 1/3 more torque.

Does anyone have a compressor map for a TD04 turbo? I want to check the map to see where i am in the pressure maps, and make sure the turbo is large enough for the installation before i go any further.

It makes a great sound when it spins up, and there is a noticeable difference, just not as much as i was expecting.

now, where did i put that supercharger....

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

This'll be what you need

There are a load more here:
http://www.stealth316.com/2-3s-compflowmaps.htm

For different versions of the TD04 turbo. Links are just over 1/3rd the way down the page.

Do you know what boost you are getting and what AFR under boost?

what psi are you running because on most turbo cars you only get a good kick when your running 15psi boost.

I dont know at themoment, as the gauge i wanted to use will be facing the wrong way, so i installed the boost controller and wound it in to "About that much" boost pressure! I know, i know, the risks of blowing up the engine etc etc...

I think i might remove it and try again with the standard actuator on its own, but once ive stopped the oil leak and cleand up a bit.
