You're most likely to find them on Escorts or Mondeo autos in my limited experience. On the mondeo they're kept out of the way and are usually in good clean condition

got mine from an automatic mondeo, escorts have them as well.

There was a guy on ebay selling them along with coil packs etc.

^^ what they said

the auto's still had them after the manuals had changed to ECU only
(most of the manual cars don't have them after 95'ish)

on the passenger side inner wing I think (follow the wires from the coil pack)

but at R reg it probably won't have one (unless its an auto)

you wont normally find one on an escort with a zetec.

You want to be looking at fiesta's and escorts with the 1.1 and 1.3 endura pushrod engine, looks like the old xflow.

The above engines also have a dis modual with a red top and esc printed on them. No good for what you want but worth more on ebay than a edis 4 if you get the plug with it.

Few found in auto mondeos

Theres a detailed, apprently accurate , list on the megajolt (autosportlabs) website within the site/litature.

Otherwise i have to say, i bought mine off ebay. Just make sure you get the plug or you have to do what i did which is email loads of sellers on ebay asking if the plug comes with it, and then when one replys and said is does make them an offer for the plug saying you bought another one without in the mean time!

The coil pack however is easy to find in a scrappy.
