Using a bike can on a car engine pro's & cons

This is a question for the more technically minded.

I presently use an exhaust from GBS, their standard exhaust system you can get for £85. It is a bit loud sometimes with IVA at 96 dBA. It passed but considering a quieter drive.

So wondering about the pro's and cons of using a single bike can, are they suitable?

Not sure if there is a single can for a 900cc bike but think it must be able to cope with 1800 cc car engine as the bike will do around 12000 rpm compared to 6,000 rpm of a car engine.

Has anyone used them with success thoughts appreciated.

I put an R1 can on my Zetec Indy as the Westfield can I had was noisy. It's much quieter - less than 90Db.

Im going to be using twin blue flame evo cans from my old TL1000R. Sounds sweet with the 4 cylinder, and will sound sweeter with the V6.

Do they restrict performance or are they OK because of the difference in revs as I believed?

I've got an R1 can on my 1,4 K series. Plenty of others use the R1 can, including GeoffT who has a 1.8 K series.

On R1 cans dont some have a cat right at the front and then 3 baffles, rather than OE bike exhausts i think the aftermarket stuff would be better for flow but are much more costly.
