ZX9R clutch intermittent slip.MOVED TO BEC FORUM.
The clutch has Barnett springs and has over the last week started to slip now and then when revving in higher gears. Tonight started to slip in lower
gears if a bit more gas was added. I checked the clutch lever and cable in the engine and couldnt see any signs of it sticking but it did get better
again after this. It felt as if the pedal stayed further down so I was wondering if the cables are prone to sticking and not engaging the clutch
fully?
Would I be right in saying that if it was the clutch was wearing or springs not strong enough that the symptoms would be all the time and not
intermittent?

If intermitent IE only at high revs could still be the clutch. If intermitent as at X krpm it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't it depends on
other factors (like the speed you're going). Could be sticky cables.....
Then agina when my clutch started doing that I replaced the pads and since then it's worked fine....

Thanks for that Ben. I moved this post to BEC forum as it wasn't getting much response here. I'll amend the tittle and delete when its
been on for a day.
It did feel as if the clutch pedal was a bit lower under my foot.
