GSXR muffler

I love my stock GSXR muffler on my 1300cc xflow. It is sooo much quieter than what I had before. But therein lies the problem. It is too quiet. Can I safely drill a 13mm hole in the center of the final baffle on the tail pipe side and increase the noise a little? Any other suggestions? I don't want loud, just a little more noise. It is as quiet as a tin top now. Tks in advance, Russ

Just keep running it for a while and it will most likely get louder on it's own Is the baffle just a piece of pipe ?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Peteff, I don't know. If I look into the exhaust all I see is a plate about 8cm in. I've put about 700 miles on it and no change in sound level. I don't think 1300cc of exhaust could blow out a candle much less a baffle (teehee). Russ
