Megajolt - Runtime error - Microsoft isual C ++ Runtime Library
I connected upto the megajot configurator ok.
I ran the hypertermial command Via C and pressed S got no responce.
Now whenever i try to connect to the megajot configurator i get an error.
Does the firmware need re-flashing?

Do you know if the MJ hardware is V3 or V4? The configurator software is version-specific: V3.x for V3 hardware, V4.x for V4 hardware. They're
physically different too: V4 has surface-mounted components, IIRC.

Hi it is V4
The config software did work until i tried hyper terminal, i pressed C got no responce, then pressed S got no responce.
I then tried to re- connect to the config software where i get the error.
Im woundering if i started some sort of runtime process on the chip when i pressed C or S
I was going to try an flash the chip but i get an error when i try to run the dos command, Em: this is not a valid win32 application

re-download the app and install it.
The application sounds like its trying to do something but its failing to do it. This is either cause their is a bug in the megajolt software or part
of the XP / Vista / Win7 machines hasn't got the required instructions (the library is out of date). I've no idea what libraries are
missing but running microsofts windows updater tool may help.

you're trying to tell the computer to run something, but the thing you're telling it to run isn't a program.
Check the command you're typing in / re-download the application in case it was corrupted on download.

Saw your query on Brent's forum.
Did that sort it?
