Oil catch Tank Query

I have seen 2 types of caych tank to connect up to the breathers on my zetec engine.
One seems to have a a filter and one connection.
The other seems to haver to pipes which seems to imply that it can take 2 connections one from the sump and one from the rocker cover?

Which is the tank to get and how should they be set up?

Being breathers I am assuimng that they need the ability to breath? So you need to have an outlet to the atmosphere?

Any help or guidance welcome.

Thanks

Frank

Mine just run to air....

Does your engine have the breather pipe thats attached to the back of the block?

Run a pipe from the block breather (under the exhaust manifold round the back of the block, T it into the cam cover breather and run it wherever your conscience allows.

OEM is for the breathers to go into the inlet to recycle.
