Denso Alternator ????????
Afternnon Guys,
Firstly let me wish you all a Happy Easter! For those of you that have the time off work, get in the garage. For those who don't (like me), im
guessing your pining over the time lost, grrrrr.
Anyway back to my question. My current alternator is from a JCB by the looks of things, im after a small compact alternator to replace it.
i have heard that the Denso alternators are the way to go but i have looked on the bay and they seem rather expensive. Does anyone know of any cheap
suppliers?
All the best
Alex
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

There's a few different Jap cars that have them, anyting from MX-5's o Micras, Swifts, that sort of thing. Some have difernt mounts and
pulleys. Best bet is to get down to scrappies and see what you can find.

Not necessarily expensive. I got a second hand one off the bay a couple of weeks ago for a tenner. There was a new one listed for £60 but as I'm
building a locost........
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Keep an eye on ebay. I picked up a new Denso alternator from a Kubota tractor for £30.
