Overfuelling woes

Did or rather tried to do our first sprint of the year today but had a real problem with the car.
After running a sweet as anything since we first hooked everything up we appear to now have a massive overfuelling problem (this is on Facet fuel pump/Filter King and Fireblade carbs on a 1.8 Zetec.
It got so bad at one point you could see petrol sloshing about inside the cylinders if you took the plugs out ( I cleverly cleared that by disconnecting the fuel pump, taking all the plugs out and cranking it, never seen a quadruple petrol fountain before and for a while I was the most flammable man in Norfolk, I was drenched in the stuff).
We now seem to be able to get it running but it seems to be incredibly difficult to balance the Filter King between fuel starvation and a stupid amount of overfuelling, a quarter turn of the adjuster screw seems to go from one to the other.
Bike fuel pump the answer or is it actually possible to get the current setup running properly and reliably.

I would change your engine oil.

Bike pump or I would recomend a Huco pump sold by webcon for webers.

1.4psi and 120l/h

Definitely go with a bike fuel pump.
Logic says a blade one to match your carbs.

Sling the Filter king and facet.
You'll get more for them on ebay than the bike pump will cost you.

Did the Borough 19 sprint at Honington (or part of before we had to retire the car), cracking course they'd laid out, good mix of flat out and twisty bits, great weather and the usual great organisation you get from the Borough 19 team, shame to miss most of the day.

Fireblade pump is what we're going to go with as we've only got two weeks before the next one so need it to work asap.

Quick additional Q for all the bike carb genius'; Would the Filter King and Fact pump overwhelm the carbs, so not only are they flooding, but pushing way to much fuel in the chambers?

I thought this was down to the jets, so if jets are correct, them carbs would flood but the engine would be receving correct fuel?

TBH i don't know enough about carbs, but i'm learning now.....
