zetec with cbr600 carbs overfueling??

2.0l zetec, running cbr600 carbs, not modded yet, bike pump for fuel delivery, esc for ignition, running realy rich badly when cold, lumpy, wont pick up, better when engine warmed up, seems to be running rich when warm, but you can rev it up then, fuel into bottom of carbs, breathers at top, left open, any ideas guys, trying to get it ready for stoneleigh, thanks, andy

You really need to get an AFR meter on it to know what's happening.

On unmodded CBR600 carbs I'd expect it to be a bit lean if anything.
Have you balanced the carbs?
