£75 notes is cheap but 4 hours to set up the carbs is far to long. You can write a maps for ignition and fuel in that time inc. warm up maps!
I'd expect a couple of hours inc. carb balancing if they don't do many Zetecs. Places that do them a lot will already now roughly what jet
you need unless you have a radical build and then it's fine tuning from there.

I think you are wasting your cash on the Esc.
Your time and money would be better spent getting bog Bro's to set up your carbs.
Then some RR time when you get the final ignition set up.

My car has never been anywhere a rolling road and runs great. I set mine up with an AFR metre. I have a similar set up to you - Zetec and ZX6R carbs,
but with Megajolt.
Do you have an AFR meter?

hi guys, big-wasa, whitestu, thanks 4 advise, have made a diy afr meter which converts dc signal from lamda sencor to leds, hopping to try it out this
weekend, hope to megajolt over the winter, as you have suggested in the past to me, hoping diy afr and volt meter will do for this summer, used volt
meter last weekend was reading 0.36 v to 0.67 volts through the rev range, not tried it under load yet, guys this zetec is a lot more powerfull than
my cvh was, great upgrade, only driven it for a couple of miles so far, by god its quick, (even with the esc), mejagolt should make it rev further etc
(note to self learn about megajolt), thanks again guys for your advise, guiding me with your experience etc. will see how i get on this weekend, ie
carbs and afr meter. any other thoughts appreciated. andy

It is important to make sure that then engine isn't running too lean [though I didn't when I first installed my bike carbsu
Have you drilled out the jets on your carbs?

had drilled the jets out to 1.6 mm as suggested by boggs, when i whent to wot, she was over fuelling, so soldered them up, they are at 1.2 mm at mo,
running cvh exhaust manifold with adaptor plate, could this be resticting the engine, worried about it being lean, thats why i have not taken car to
far, running using volt meter at mo, afr meter on test at work, should be tested today, will try it out at the weekend, thanks andy
