Gearbox problem

Hi all,

Recently I've noticed a constant growl, low level hiss at low speed which I think is coming from my gearbox (MT75). Can't hear a thing at speed LOL, nor in neutral so guessing input shaft bearing??. Its getting worse by the day though.

Does anyone live close to Tamworth who could give me a 2nd opinion before I take it out.

How hard a job is it to relace bearings or should I just replace box??

Cheers Steve

I'd replace the box and in my leisure swap the bearings in the old one. that way i stay on the raod and have a spare that i can keep or sell.

Mt75 is a cheap box so I wouldnt bother doing any work on it.

Just put another in.
