secondary fuel tank

i have a large ally fuel tank im looking at getting made smaller to use as a 2nd tank - for
a. back up on long runs
b. track use

does anyone know where i can find a 'Y' type switchable fuel connector?

What about a fuel connector of a motorbike tank?

As far as i know they just have 2 pipes out of the top, one slightly higher than the other, so it can be used as a reserve?

Just route the 2 pipes to your two tanks mabye?

not quite sure how that works. It maybe the simplest solution is to just carry a £1.50 jerry can :-)
