Building Airbox for ZX12 ?

Hi all,

I am considering making my own airbox for my zx-12 engined Spire GT-R (which has a nice air scoop just behind the drivers head).

I know its a hugely complex topic which i can't hope to master on my limited budget, but has anyone had any experience making one of these in the past ?

Does anyone have a plan or set of guidelines that i could work to ?. What kind of volume do i need ?. Am i best to just forget about the whole idea and just run a filter ?

Cheers
Tris
