Leaky zetec sump gasket

Hi guys,
Finished shortening sump and so forth, putting my engine back together i replaced the sump gasket between the block and the ali part of the sump. I over filled the engine with oil to keep it fresh/check for leaks and there is oil coming from between the ali part of the sump, and the block, when I tilt the engine forward, and back, it gets worse. I used the burton sump gasket if that makes a difference. Also, it stops doing it when oil is at a normal level?

Is this normal, or do I need to use the original ford sump gasket.

(its a blacktop with the 2 part sump... I also replaced the rear crank seal and the gunge between the steel and ali parts of the sump. All of this is not leaking)

Any idea's/help greatly recieved, Jason

Did the old gasket use the ford spec RTV sealant like on the joint between the alumnium and steel parts of the sump?
