don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

In long, 200 dollars for 2 engines is a bargain i'd say. From a brief look i had at the photos, one at least looked very clean, and had some attention to detail spent on it, which looks a good sign. And well, even 200 for that one engine would be a decent price i think. The extra engine just sweetens the deal
So, in short, yes

Now all I need to do is convince SWMBO that this is worthwhile. That add is a couple of weeks old, so they could already be sold.... OR he might be willing to take less for them as he's "moving" and they haven't gone anywhere.

Think I should offer him $100 bucks? I could use the other $100 to get some engine stands, and rent a truck, and hire a couple buddies....
