Fella's am I right in thinking the 2 litre Pinto is valve safe and the 1600 isnt ?

Yes, assuming its not had the head skimmed excessively and is only running a standard cam.

FR32 cams and wilder will cause clashes if the belt breaks.

You can get lucky with a 1.6 or unlucky with a 2lt

Engines only turned with starter, but some hows been assembled with cam way out so hoping I'm lucky.
