pinto inlet thread

Morning All,

Does anyone know what thread is on the inlet water jacket hole between cylinders 2 & 3 on the inlet manifold please?

errrrr the one in the burton catalog

its the one at the top of the list if you search "pinto DCOE manifold" (INLET MANIFOLD SOHC PINTO 2x45DCOE 3.4"

It's an NPT thread - not sure on size but i have a tap for it at home.....

just checked my old posts and can confirm it is 3/8 NPT

I know all the stock ford stuff is NPT....

I've only got stock EFI ones or a bogg bros ZX9R one (much like your old Bogg Bros R1 manifold)

Standard is 1/4 NPT IIRC

thats the little water temp sensor on the block. I believe he is refering to the much larger one in the center of the inlet manifold which is 3/8NPT

Water temp sensor is 1/8NPT, oil pressure sensor is 1/4 NPT

You are right it may well be 3/8NPT for the water outlet.
