S2000 engine height

Long shot I know, but does anyone have an accurate height measurement of an S2000 engine?

I want a measurement from the bottom of the bellhousing if possible (will be the lowest point with a dry sump pan).

Thanks.

i will check mine tomorrow. but it fits under mnr bonnet with standard engine mounts and standard sump.i have more ground clearence than i did with the R1 motor!
if its for a 7 and you want to get it low you will need to make mods to bell housing as its not much higher than the sump anyway

I wonder if anything can be shaved from the bottom of the bell housing?

I've seem plenty of mods to the top of the bellhousing, but not the bottom.

it fits in my mnr chassis perfectly with no mods whatsoever!
what installation is it for? if you are intending on buying an f20c lump and then a dry sump kit i would seriously think about other options.it will break the bank!
if on the other hand, like me,you are buying a cat D. and keeping things standard its amazing how little you can get things for!
just make sure headlights, seats, roof, rear lights, suspension, wishbones etc are all ok and you will get big money for them.
i think my engine,(2003 with 25k) gearbox, prop, steering components, diff, clocks, start button, wiring loom, fuel pump plus more, stands me at about £1500 but i still have loads from the s2000 to sell, so its not too bad

Inch if you are lucky between sump and bellhousing heights and you won't be doing any bellhousing shaving either
