Hydraulic release bearing problem

Hi all, this is my first posting to the LocostBuilder's forum although I have been using the forum as a resource for my Spitfire Zetec conversion. I have learned a lot about adapting the type 9 trans to the Zetec thanks to you folks.

A minor problem I have come up against is with the hydraulic release bearing I purchased from Retro Ford. The bleeder pipe supplied with the unit is about 1/2" short of extending outside the bellhousing, thus making it difficult to get a wrench on it to bleed the cylinder. It is a Ford unit so might Ford supply different lengths for different application?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Extend it with standard brake bundy and suitable fittings,

Thanks. Can you elaborate on the word "bundy". I'm an anglophile and familiar with many of your colloquialisms but I've not seen this one.
