Exhaust manifold kit
Has anyone ever managed to fit one of these manifold kits to their 7 !!??
Manifold kit
I have spent the last day or so trying to wrap my head around it
Can't for the life of me see how that bag of tubes will make a 4-2-1 manifold that will fit into the available space ( Or any other combination
of manifold for that matter )
I knew the moment I saw that bag of pipes arrive, some cutting would be needed .... It's very close to becoming more junk for the scrap pile

Oh well you know what the say about a fool & his money

Barry
Thank's for the offer of assistance
St Hilary is not too far from you at all .... If my brain does not defrost soon, I could very well be in touch
Matt
I feel such a dummy .... How on earth did I miss that link on the add
Those pictures do indeed help
Perhaps it would help if I explained what I am trying to achieve.
I really, really do not want to come over the top chassis rail & have a cut out in the bonnet. ( Fitting A Redtop post IVA )
Just trying to fabricate something in the engine bay so that I can bring a single or twin pipe out through the side panel

don't want to tread on anyone's toes, but is that just a generic kit exhaust?
considering the fact that varying the length of the primaries, secondaries, collectors etc can have a massive impact on the performance of your
engine; have you researched into what lengths you need for the engine that you have or is it a case of you just get what your given and then you weld
it together yourself and bolt it onto the car?
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

It's a good point, but compared to the original Vauxhall exhaust it will probably be a little bit better

As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list-- I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed-- who never would be missed!

doesnt look too cracking that kit, but for £99 I guess you cant expect too much.
Its going to need a fair bit of modding to get it to exit the side of the body rather than over the chassis rail.
Bit OT perhaps but is Spencer Ashley (who seems to be mentioned in many of Pepperperformance's ads) THE Ashley - as in Ashley exhausts?

Yes, Spencer Ashley is the founder's son. I think he now runs the business.

Yes very generic
That is a very good point you have made about the lengths of the individual pipes
If I were to be honest, that is the thing causing my brain freeze.
My head is saying one thing & the pipes are teling me it is going to be awfull once they are chopped to suit
Common sense is telling me that I would be better off using a stock manifold rather than use an ill designed home made one.

If you decide against it and fancy selling it on cheap let me know
I've just lost my job so cant afford a decent exhaust atm, but need one to get my engine running and dont mind cutting my bonnet.
Cheers
