ITB or manifold
So assuming you were going to buy an engine, something large like an audi V8, but were going to be modifying the fueling side of things by converting
it to lpg bank fire *only*, would you consider running a set of large bike throttles or would you stick with the original manifold and single
throttle? It has just been floating around in my head that i could take this route and use the carb jets to feed the lpg in, while getting that lovely
crisp throttle response. But im not sure if the gain is worth the effort input. Or even what scale of gains i would be looking at.
Thoughts?

Seconded.
I would either, change to throttle bodies, or convert to LPG, not both together, that's just asking for major headaches.

Hmm seeing your point but it seems odd to attempt a scratch-build car/engine/fueling system and make it half what you want, then have to modify it
later?

On reviewing it it does seem to make sense to get it running one way first. Torn.

That's sort of what i mean, I'm not discounting running LPG (I've had several LPG powered cars).
But, i would get it up and running on ITB's, with a view to fittting LPG, then once it's all running right, then fit the LPG
conversion.
That way, if you do have any problems, you know it is only down to what your doing at the time. Instead of wondering if the fault is down to 1 thing
or the other.
