2 scrap 1800 CVH's
morning all
I am having a clear out at the workshop and have 2 1800 cvh's removed from donors.
before i weigh them is there anything worth saving..

The sumps are good for zetec conversions. May be useful for someone

I do know someone with a 1600 CVH for sale...
only done 30,000 miles stood since 1995.
new battery and a bit of fuel and it started

1.8 CVH. Save the sump and oil pick up, worth a few quid for zetec conversions. Also the Distributor drive tends to snap, so they are worth saving
as replacements are hard to find. Flywheel is also worth keeping as they are pretty light and useful for conversions.

Cambelt tensioner can be expensive and rare too!
Sump worth a good few quid as can be redrilled and shortened ('cos it's tin) to fit silvertop Zetec.
Flywheel lighter than Zetec one so can be used with a separate igniton trigger wheel.
Sump will not fit 1.6 CVH
