New Heads - 520 HP???????

New Edelbrock heads arrived for my Chevy 383 - Camquest engine modelling software says 520 HP is possible with my setup - I don't really believe that but anything between 400 & 450Hp will make me more than and another 30 HP is available with a change of carb and manifold. And the heads and Al Water pump pull 30kg out of the weight.

Current motor is around 300 HP and I have run 13.5 on the strip in my Cobra with horribly hard street tyres so should comfortably drop below 13 secs with new motor.

I just love V8's with twin sidepipes at 7000 RPM

Nothing special - It's very tatty after 20 years of abuse - as soon as the engines done will repaint in original maroon and then wrap in satin black with copper stripes.
