Ford 1600/1700 Zetec SE Inlet

Would I be right in thinking the 1600's dont have an inlet gasket but the 1700's do? ie one that can be copied to produce a flange?

Are they all the same in terms of port shape/size and stud patterns?

I'm feeling the need to expand my product range!

The 1600s have a plastic manifold and rubber gaskets on each port. The 1700 has a metal manifold and (presumably) a regular paper gasket...

The 1700 'gasket' is actually a 5mm thick plastic plate that holds the port sealing rings on each side. I guess that in effect it is the same as the flange only of the 1600 plastic manifold.

Nice one, thanks guys.

From searching google images I did see a few pics of a reasonably thick looking gasket so I guess thats what I need.
