Ignition wiring help

Hi Guys,

So i'm at the stage to start wiring up the car. I have a RAW wiring loom that i've started routing through which includes chassis wiring i.e. lights, switches, clocks etc, and i have a dunnel igntion only ECU for the Zetec which is on carbs.

Now the problem comes as i have no idea really on how to wire up an igntion system.

What's the simplest way of wiring up the ignition? Is there a really easy wiring diagram which shows the ignition/charging system which i might understand?

I've had a search around the net and found a few things, but it's all greek to me...!

any help appreciated!

Regards,
Andy

Dunnell should provide you with a wiring diagram for their ecu and the sensors it needs. You may have to add connections for permanent live, ignition live and earth to some sensors, throttlepot, coil and the ecu itself. But work from the Dunnell instructions for ignition/ecu.
