Engine Start Up

After only a short amount of time messing with the old A-Sries in my midget, we managed to get it fired up (using a slightly dodgy wiring method and getting power from jump leads attached to me mates BMW).

There's no return spring on the carb, hence my mates quick action to cut the power once we'd established that it works.

Now to remove it, stick it on Ebay and then start looking for a 1275 to replace it

You should see it now that the engine is gone

Plan is to put a 1275 in there and prep is for the classic car class for hillclimbing.

At some point I want to do a bike engined frogeye with coilover suspension all round - I have the plans for such a thing, but baby on the way in a few weeks means it's more economical to just put it together in a normal manner for now.
