type 9 bellhousing gasket to a zetec

Does anyone know where I can buy the gasket that goes between a zetec and a type 9 bellhousing????

Most people modify the one which matches the gearbox.

Thats what I did with the MT75 - Zetec, which is pretty much the same conversion.

Its either Burton Power or Raceline, we bought one for our last install.

If i remember, i'll try and dig out the invoice when i get home

Or make one! copy the shape of the bellhousing, and cut the relevanr holes in it

just phoned burtons they do one for a type nine to pinto or xflow and its 35 odd quid plus vat and delivery!!!!

Quick update

Just spoke to the very helpful raceline. They say they never fit thema nd never have since the xflow days with the thinking being whatever gets in can get out that way, plus it faces backwards!

I think we paid about £35 so i'd guess it was Burton.

TBH you don't HAVE to use one, but I felt more comfortable knowing no stones/oil/filth could get onto the clutch or stuck in the flywheel.
