anyone got pics of a MNR reverse box install with propshaft linkages
hey all,
just considering how I will be mounting the reverse box and what type of propshafts i will need and could do with seeing how some of you have done it.
ideally would like photos of the propshaft from the engine to the reverse box and then from reverse box to the diff.
cheers,
mads

Hi
Have some photo's in my archive
Not the most helpfull ones.
The MRN is almost a exact exchange for the Quaife
So I used the prop shafts that were cutsom made by DAX for the MC-Rush.
Basically you need 2 custom prop shafts.
My front shaft is Rubber sleeved to lessen stress to the bike gear box.
With one UJ to the MNR box, the other end varies from car to car.
The rear one is a UJ each end with a sliding (splined) joint. (not in photo's)
Note In my Dax rush the MNR box had to be reversed, with a modified gear lever.

Hello,
I've recently fitted the propshafts on the car and I have a MNR reverse box. Here goes some pics. Pictures are not that good because the phone
camera is a bit lame and I'm a lousy photographer. Since I'm still building, I can easily take additional photos.
Follow my WWW button bellow to check my build blog or see just pics on my Picasa album (https://picasaweb.google.com/duarte.loreto/HappyBlade).
Have fun,

cheers both. makes sense and think I know what I will need now. just need to make a bracket to put the reverse box on to.
how did you decide where to place the reverse box? was it simply looking at where the handle would fit on the tunnel?

I didn't have to decide. I bought a complete kit from Aries Motorsport and that included the support for the box already in place and also the
propshafts. Since these are made to size...
Have fun!
