Zx9r carb main jet?

I have got a set off zx9r b1 carbs on my 2.0zetec and the carbs appear to have 200 main jets in them.

I was going to change them for 170 jets out off a zx6r carb i have but they wont screw in as they appear smaller.

My question is , Should the zx6r & the zx9r carbs have the same type of jets as im wondering if it has got a dynojet kit in the zx9r carbs possibly the part the the jet screws into has been changed?

Maybe different types of jets. They not all the same.

200 seems way over the top, most zx9's have a 155 or smaller.

Better off getting some off a similar bike, ZX7 ZX9 ZZr100 etc.

As a cheap fix you could try soldering the holes shut and re-drill to a smaller size.Worth a go.

I have got hold of a kawasaki manual and it says the main jets on the bike should be 200.

Which size jets will i need for a 2ltr zetec?

according to the manual

Main jets throughout the zx9r models

B Model 200
C Model 155
E Model 160 &165
