Type 9 alloy lids?
Evening all,
I've just dragged my type 9 down from the loft to start cleaning and painting it for my Sprite. Now, I've seen the alloy top lids on Ebay,
the ones with the breathers and filler hole on the top.
Are the worth spending £40 or so on? I could get the shiny Quaife one, but at £80, it's almost what I paid for the box!! If they're of
some benefit, then I might just fit one as it's another shiny bit. If they do next to naff all, then I (probably) won't!

naff all I think and just a bit of bling, you could always fit a breather pipe to the standard cover. Far better is a good race gearlever as they give
a lot more solid shifting as their all metal with no rubber parts. In have one and it goes clunk clunk every time I change gear I like it
