jetting weber 28/32 TLDM for K&N

hiya

given up on the engine swap for this year! so I got a recon carb from chatsworth motor spares, and a new shiny K&N filter, to keep the 2.0 DOHC ford motor going.

changed the primary jet (as per K&N instructions for the filter, tho for an XR2 really!) to a 122 (up from 115) and set it up on the analyser

now I have a stutter on pick up, but running perfectly on tickover, CO is set at 3.5

has anyone got any thoughts on whether I need to change the main jet? and any clues to what if I do!

also, not getting constant voltage for the auto choke from the alternator - it's off one phase, so is about 7v, but seems to cut off sometimes - is this normal? or should I replace the alternator? seems to put the choke back on, and flood the carb occasionally - very odd....

cheers

Terry
