Fuels System Layout

Am I right in assuming the following;

1) Fuel Pump (Red top) installed by the tank
2) Filter King installed in the engine bay

some people put a second filter before the pump, to help protect it.

Beware! Bourettes is binfectious.

So if i read it right, I should go from tank imeadiately to a filter then pump, then line to engine bay were the regulator will be?

Anyone out there with a red top pump manual out there?

Cheers Ben

You can put a red top at the front of the car if you want to, as long as it is with 0.6m vertically of the bottom of the tank. Mine is going to go on the front of the pedal box as there is no real room at the back of my phoenix that i can get access to once its all together. Also the red top pumps have got a filter integrated into them - not sure how fine the mesh is though compared to other filters.
