to stud or not to stud that is the question?

Hi all
anybody used head studs instead of bolts? what do you think and is there an advantage of using them?

faster dismantling and re-assembly times are the only advantages I can see. Big disadvantage is that you will always have some threads exposed.

It also depends upon the engine. Some are designed to use modern stretch bolts, older engines tend to use studs. Personally, I;d use whatever the engine was designed to use.
