Fury V8 Engine mounting

Hi all,

I am in the process of rebuilding a LHD Fury V8. I bought it as a stopped project and it is completely in parts...
I started with changing / strengthening the chassis.

Now I am trial fitting engine and gearbox.
Does anybody know how much lower the lowest point of the sump is measured to the chassis.
I cannot use the bonnet because that is stored at an other location.

Thanks in advance.

Paul from the Netherlands.

I'll try and measure mine tonight.

As far as I can tell, my sump protrudes 65mm below the bottom of the lowest chassis rail.

Dave
