help with carb balancing

Hi guys.

I hacve just my self a set of carb balancers. I have a fireblade 919 engine...

can me an idiot but when I take out the balancing port screws from the head do I then just insert the tubes into them or do I need to get some sort of brass fitting ??

any help would be great..

CARBURETTOR CARB 2 / 4 CYLINDER VACUUM GAUGE BALANCING | eBay you should have got the 4 brass tubes, can't remember if the thread size is model specific

The brass things should screw into the holes as per the instructions. I think the longer ones go in the outside holes.
Unfortunately they don't fit my ZX9 so I drilled some threaded rod and connected the brass things with a short piece of tube.
