Machining a custom Bellhousing
Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have a bellhousing machined to match my requirements?
I have a formula ford which uses a kent engine and hewland mk9 transaxle but I would like to investigate to possibility of fitting another engine. I
believe that the Zetec engine is a direct match for the bellhousing pattern but the sigma (zetec se) has a different bellhousing pattern.
It's is just an idea and so many of you have had direct experience having parts machined, I figured I would ask here.
Thanks.

There used to be a formula ford / single seater series of some sort that did use the Zetec SE engine so what you need should be already out there.
Pace originally designed their dry sump system for the Zetec SE to be used with it

My csr is from 1987 and the bellhousing forms the rear end of the car with the suspension hung off it.
