ZZR1100 c1 fuel pump

Hi all, I have a zzr1100 c1 '91 in my tadpole trike. Im not running the bike fuel pump as I think its aided by gravity so I am using a kit car pump that came with the original car. My problem is its running incredibly rich and simply wont clear its guts. Any suggestions on fuel pumps or fuel delivery rates? Any advice would be great. Cheers Mike.

You should use the pump that the bike uses just make sure it,s pushing the fuel and not pulling it, sounds like your curent pump is delivering too much fuel.

If memory serves me correctly ZZR pumps run at 2.2-2.5psi with an overpressure cut off around 2.7.
