Bob, have you decided the problem is the sender rather than a real drop in oil pressure then?

Since i topped up with a further 200ml of oil the light now stays off,so i've decided the MK chopped pinto sump takes 4 litres of oil and i've adjusted(cut another one) the dip stick to suit.

I have a pressure gauge but no sender,i know the make of the gauge but just wanted to know the thread size where the oil light sender plugs in.

have you sorted yours ? mines pinking like mad at 9 degs so i'm at about 11 degs but down on power now,i still a
have a slight oil leak at fuel pump like yours though

If i dont get it sorted i can see the zetec conversion coming sooner than later

I've not noticed my light coming on recently (must try taking corners faster to see if I can get it to come back on).

I'm not going to do anything bout the fuel pump oil leak til winter, there's only a small dribble coming out (for now) I suspect the problem is the gasket that I had to cut out by hand.
