Zx6r carb issues

Hi all after my first start today I have a few issues, after running the engine I'm getting fuel out of this brass screw(i think) inside the carb inlet on all 4 carbs any ideas? It's quite a lot of fuel too.

Are you talking about the screws on the bottom at the left. If so those are the air correctors. I would start by checking that your floats are shutting properly.

There's the bike manual here that explains what to do. http://zx6r.com/service-manuals/
I've adjusted mine after bending a con rod caused hydraulic lock due to fuel filling up one of the inlets. I was't very scientific just bent the float tabs back a bit. Still in the process of fitting a new engine so don't know if that's worked. Also picked up a zx6r fuel pump that shouldn't over pressurise the carbs. Again don't know if that will solve the issue.

Main point is make sure your inlet a fuel free before starting the car if it's been left a while, it's a quick route to that engine upgrade you were thinking about!

Good luck
Chris

Thanks, the main jets have been drilled to 1.6mm and starts first time every time so think it just needs some fine tuning I will take a look at that manual thanks.

When I first installed mine the did that.

Clean out the float valves with a bit of carb cleaner and try again.
