Checking Sierra diff

Hi all,

I've ended up with two LSD's how can I check if they are ok when not fitted to a car (or is this not possible)?

I don't want to clean and paint one to find out its a whines

You can test the lsd by turning one wheel and see if the other wheel rotates in the same direction.

You can feel if ther is much back lash by seeing if how much you can move the prop before the wheels turn. That is about as much as you can test.

Should be a 3.62 as it was on a 2.8 sierra.
